Cross Crusade Race #1 Results – Alpenrose

Alpenrose Dairy
Sunday, October 1, 2006

Quite a few names managed to get themselves back from Seattle on Saturday night/Sunday morning and found themselves on the start line for the first Cross Crusade race of the year. Alpenrose Dairy was the venue. The number of riders was staggering, close to 800 riders on the day when adding up all the categories.

Here are the results from the top categories. Carl Decker (GIANT) wins the stacked Mens A race and Wendy Williams (RIVER CITY) snags the first Cross Crusade win of the year in the Womens A category. Of note, Jon Gallagher (COLE SPORT) promoted a race Friday night in his hometown of Park City, Utah, then raced and won the Master Men 1/2 race at Star Crossed in Seattle on Saturday afternoon and then took the top honors in the Master Men A category at Cross Crusade on Sunday afternoon. All the rest of the results for all categories (including unicycle) can be found here.
